Comments:

Stayed to the left outside so I could see everyone. Still worried about getting kicked. But the field thinned out after we rounded the first buoy so I moved closer to the main line. All times are estimates. I didn't wear a watch and they only posted overall time. People said the swim course was long and the run short.

a bit slower than intended, the suit leg got stuck on the timing chip, I lost my balance and fell over... must have looked very professional

Run went well for me but, as always, I was passed by lots of people. Only passed one other woman. Ran without socks for the first time. I know, nothing new on race day, but I figured it was such a short run... Didn't even get a blister. I'll do that again at my next sprint race.

Fun, short race. Could have done with less junk in the water. But nothing unexpected for that lake.

Placed 20/64 of all women. Beat lots of young chicks. Midlife crisis on hold now. :)
