Run
Comments: I had to keep to the grass to avoid puddles, and that made it a little bit easier on my knees. But other than that, the combination of sand and concrete was confusing my legs. What would you do differently?: Very, very cold. I will have to make sure I wear warming clothes. I was SO cold I was purple. Post race
Warm down: Bit of a walk around. What limited your ability to perform faster: The cold and my knee. Event comments: Very well run. Disposable timing chips so no need to return them. Good warm up, and I got another skipping rope. Would have liked a free drink bottle though, they were all gone by the time I finished! Last updated: 2010-04-19 12:00 AM

Got up at 7am. Glad we did get up that early, or we would have never gotten a park at the event.
Had two crumpets, one with nuttelex, one with peanut butter. Some water and we were out the door at 7.30am.
Picked up the timing chip, checked out some brooks merchandise, and waited for the start.
It was really really cold, I was just about crying I was so uncomfortable. I am wearing my skins next time!
Quick warm up with part of a body attack class with the guys from fitness first. Walked to and from the car a few times, as Superman left his keys and phone and things in his pocket.
