Pre-race routine:

Get up, trip to Walmart for things I forgot, and then off to set up my transition area!

I put in a 6:58 and finished in 7:04, but ended up having to pass about 4 people in from of me. I think I will put in a more aggressive swim time next race!

Other than opt for a faster seed time, nothing!

For my first year, I'm pretty happy with the transitions. I need more time clipping in and out! I'll get there.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Overall, I'm thrilled with how the race went for me! The limiting factor was probably my current fitness level, but I believed I performed to the best of my current ability.

Event comments:

A great celebration of the female spirit! Loved how friendly everyone was before, during and after the race. I enjoyed being cheered on and cheering others through out the race. Overall, a terrific experience. Just what I was expecting nice, fun, competitive, but mostly inspiring!
