Pre-race routine:

zero sleep...not sure what my problem is, I wasn't too nervous or anxious.

my worst swim...I added 4 minutes to last years time.
breathing, sighting - way off! had trouble getting my act together.
RD warned that swimming over another racer will get you yanked. Everyone was VERY polite during the swim.

Warm down:

walked around and inhaled a bagel, grapes and peanuts.
quickly loaded gear in car and got out of Dodge.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

higher Heart Rate than usual during a race...?

Event comments:

Very well organized event.
Road conditions were the only issue but not the RD's fault.
Will do it again.
