  • 01m 43s / 100 yards
Comments:

Good swim, started a little to fast but that's ok. THis course is crazy. Had to go over the top of a couple people doing breast stroke. Don't understand why they lie and go off at a much faster time than they're supposed to. It just get's them run over.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Transition 1
  • 02m 18s
Comments:

Good transition. This is a big transition area so it's a long run from the pool to your bike.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing

  • 22.79 mile/hr
Comments:

Great Bike
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. OK, maybe a new carbon rocket for next year.
Transition 2
  • 01m 33s
What would you do differently?:

Nothing
Run
  • 23m 7s
  • 3.1 miles
  • 07m 28s  min/mile
Comments:

Slow start, just couldn't get the legs moving after the bike but at the halfway mark I got moving and finished really strong. Last 1/4 mile was downhill so that helped a lot. This is probably the area I need to work on the most. I can really gain some time if I can get fast in the run. Might have a shot at a top 3 next year.
What would you do differently?:

Run more sprints and hills.
Post race
Warm down:

Just walk to car and a bannana and grapes.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Just more training. Especially the run.

Event comments:

For a local race with 2000 participants this is a really well run race. Even getting the bikes out of transition after the race was fast and easy. Was able to get in by 9:30am. Sweet. Can't wait until next year.
