Run
Comments: I kept the 4:00 marathon balloons in my sight the whole time. When the course split I was right next to them so it was just a matter of running sub 9's for the last 3 or so miles. What would you do differently?: I'm training for IMCDA so this was all a part of the build up. If I were only running this I would log more miles, etc. Post race
Warm down: Walked through recovery and grabbed food. Went into the stands to watch the first few marathon finishers then left. I'm pretty sure my friend Dave qualified for Boston. What limited your ability to perform faster: tri training took away from just straight run training. Event comments: Nothing like running in Eugene, the track capital.
