Pool swim. Water was warm but air was a chilly 40 degrees. I clearly need more swimming time. I did fine for the first 75-100 meters. Once I started catching people and then started feeling someone touching me, I panic and started swimming sloppy. I still did the swim between 9-10 mins.
What would you do differently?:

Relax and stick to proper swim form.

I was a little winded from the swim so I think I wanted a little breather in transition. Hopefully with more training this won't be as big of an issue

Start biking earlier so legs are in better shape.

Again train earlier for races

This was a good race but boy there were a lot of hills both bike and run. For my 1st tri of the season I felt pretty good with my result. The pit falls I contribute to lack of experience and lack of training and nerves.
