Swim
Comments: Pool swim. Water was warm but air was a chilly 40 degrees. I clearly need more swimming time. I did fine for the first 75-100 meters. Once I started catching people and then started feeling someone touching me, I panic and started swimming sloppy. I still did the swim between 9-10 mins. What would you do differently?: Relax and stick to proper swim form. Transition 1
Comments: I was a little winded from the swim so I think I wanted a little breather in transition. Hopefully with more training this won't be as big of an issue Bike
Comments: For 1st tri of the season. I think this is pretty good considering all the hills. What would you do differently?: Start biking earlier so legs are in better shape. Transition 2
Comments: Need to get smoother popping out of clips. What would you do differently?: Learn to get into a pattern on getting stuff off and putting stuff on. Run
Comments: Again lots of hills or at least first 2 miles. Tried hard to save my legs for the end. What would you do differently?: Again train earlier for races Post race
Event comments: This was a good race but boy there were a lot of hills both bike and run. For my 1st tri of the season I felt pretty good with my result. The pit falls I contribute to lack of experience and lack of training and nerves. Last updated: 2010-04-25 12:00 AM
