Comments: Total swim time was what I planned, started off a little fast and gassed in the last 250..should have been better What would you do differently?: Don't let nerves get the best of me. better pacing Transition 1
Comments: I was unhappy with the transition. I had a great spot near the start. I had my stuff organized but I was slow in getting the socks and shoes on. What would you do differently?: Maybe go without socks next time. If its warmer I won't need to layer and that should save some time. Bike
Comments: Really struggled riding into the wind. Down to 11 mph at a couple of points. I made up some time on the way back but overall not pleased. What would you do differently?: Leave a little in the tank for the run. I was determined to make up time with the tail wind and blew out my legs a little bit. Definitely need to hit the hills and strengthen the legs. Transition 2
Comments: Not terrible but I was shedding layers and paused for a drink and a breath. What would you do differently?: Find something to wear for the whole race. Don't sweat the cool weather and a little wind. Run
Comments: Absolute mush for legs for the first half. Picked it up after the turn and actually had a decent kick. What would you do differently?: More bricks during training. don't press so much in the last two miles of the ride. Post race
Warm down: 5 minutes of stretch What limited your ability to perform faster: ineffective training. Event comments: Great race. competitive and fitness divisions (I did the fitness).
