Pre-race routine:

None. I was doing this with a friend to support her in her first fun run. Plans was to run a little and walk a little.
And finish in under 40 minutes.

Comments:

I didn't really run much. I was just getting into the running thing at the time, and Amber is not much of a runner.
What would you do differently?:

For my next run (6th June 10) I am training and doing it with someone who is faster than me, who can push me.

Warm down:

Slow bike ride with Amber after.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training. Friend who was exhausted.

Event comments:

I think I might have a shot at this again next year, to prove a point about my fitness improving. Besides, it was an awesome course, and so pretty. Good spot for it too, and head off for breaky afterwards.
Might run the 8k next year.
