First Tri. Was really uncomfortable. Should have started farther back to ease the kick in the face anxiety. Need more swim practice, especially in open water.
What would you do differently?:

Swim More pre race in open water. Suck it up and get horizontal in the water, don't fear getting kicked in the face so much.

No suit, really winded from the swim. Put shirt and shoes on, no tri shoes so no riding entry to shoes.
What would you do differently?:

Get some tri shoes and have them on the pedals. Practice this transition.

Practice a few bricks, I was totally unprepared for the lack running strength after the bike.
