very good T1---this was the first race with pre clipping pedals, flying leap, and no socks......this was the second fastest in my AG.

the splits do not reflect my finishing time because I got a penalty on the run...I'm not sure of the reason. My chip time was 2:18:40 and actual time with penalty was 2:20:40---I would have finished 3rd in my AG without the penalty. This would have also been my first podium finish. DOH!!!

This was a strong run! I was feeling it towards the end and didn't have much of a kick. Interestingly enough, this is the first time my relative placement on the bike was higher than the run. Running is my strength and it is nice to see that my bike has caught up with my run. My bike focus is definitely working!!!

Overall, my perform exceeded my expectations! I did the racer last year in similar conditions and my I improved by about 17 minutes. My improvements came in all 3 sports as well as my transition time. This was a great race and I was having a blast during the race.
What would you do differently?:

not get a penalty!!!
