Warm down:

Ice cold towels at finish, ahh!! Walked back to swim for flips, had pizza, watermelon and an Ultra, chatted with some folks, everyone agreed the race venue was awesome.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not much running last month, right hamstring therapy and rest helped but not quite back to 100%

Event comments:

Heard this race was great and not disappointed. Lots of volunteers, well organized venue. Will be back next year.

Course: a very nice flat course with combination of road and trail through woods. My dog chewed up Garmin wrist strap sometime Saturday so just ran keeping tabs on the hammy discomfort. Stopped twice at aid stations for gatorade.
