Hydrated well, was very scared about the race but calmed down once the event started.

Good walk of the pool felt comfortable in the pool, and were I was.
What would you do differently?:

learn to swim better, but that is my overall goal. I came into it as a rookie swimmer, and planned to walk most of this pool anyway.

I think I did well in my first transition and I think I made a mistake of swimming in the shorts I wore on the bike.
What would you do differently?:

have dry shorts or maybe a tri suit if I can afford it.

My bike when I changed geers the chain fell off I had to fix that and then I was a bit scared to try to change geers again.

do more outdoor bike practice.

Event comments:

The only thing that I had a problem with is they did not have the camera person there at the end for those last few finishers. Otherwise this was fun and I want to do more and train more
