Swim
What would you do differently?: Started in a decent position towards the back. Practice sighting more, and breathing under difficult conditions Transition 1
Comments: Only have a few weeks of total bike time, so I just learned to use clipless pedals not too long ago. What would you do differently?: Need to learn how to get into shoes when they're on the pedal. Practice transition Bike
What would you do differently?: More time riding, and more time at a faster pace. Transition 2
Comments: My bike was at the entrance/exit of the transition but the volunteer blocked me from going straight to my rike and said I had to run around the transition area. When I had gone down the hill and turned around, I noticed no one else was doing it so I came back up the middle and back to my rack. What would you do differently?: Don't listen to the volunteer and go straight to the rack. Run
Comments: My legs felt like lead starting the course, about a mile in I started getting blood flowing and feeling better. What would you do differently?: Do a quick stretch maybe, but definitely need to do more runs at longer distances. Post race
Warm down: Drank water and took pictures What limited your ability to perform faster: Experience Event comments: As this was my first Tri I found it as good as everyone said it was. Very well organized, well could have used more porta-potties, other than that I thought most events were on time, and most importantly started without a hitch. Last updated: 2010-05-10 12:00 AM
