Pre-race routine:

I got to the race venue late. Bad deal. Barely had enough time to get everything setup. On the way to the event I had my oatmeal and some espresso.

Try and keep pace. Avoid going to the breast stroke.

Place transition matt on other side of bike. Opposite bike removal and exit. Also analyze transition area and mentally rehearse T-1

I thought I pushed too hard but I still had some left for the run. Great race.

Make sure I have plenty of room going into transition. Got behind a slower guy and he jammed me up going into dismount.

My swim is still poor. I could also do some more race specific bike and run training.
