Swim
Comments: Okay swim given my lack of swim time lately. Felt like I was drifting left a lot and having to correct. Return leg of the swim was straight in the rising sun, as always, which made sighting next to impossible. What would you do differently?: More swim training. Transition 1
Comments: Long run to transition. Otherwise, a top 5 transition. What would you do differently?: Nothing Bike
Comments: Not sure where this ride came from! I haven't been riding my tri bike much lately (training on road bike for charity ride) and had only gotten it out of the shop the day before the race(Felt recall). I just tried to keep my power in the 160s and not kill myself on the hills. My NP was 165 so I hit it dead on! I was pleasantly surprised entering transition when I saw my bike time was sub-48min. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Transition 2
Comments: Did i mention I had a PRIMO bike rack spot right next to the bike entrance/exit. :) What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: PR (tri) 5K. Expected to really pay for the fast bike split but I felt pretty good on the run. What would you do differently?: Need to work on 5K speed. Don't train much for 5Ks so it's very ez to fall into HIM pace. Getting closer to 23:xx tho! Post race
Warm down: About passed out when I crossed the finish line! Hung out, cooled off and tried to rehydrate. What limited your ability to perform faster: As always...run pace. Event comments: One of my favorite sprint courses. Well, with the exception of the goose poop of course. Last updated: 2010-05-14 12:00 AM
