Comments: The swim was over before I realized it. I kind of lost myself during the swim and didn't think about my stroke, rotation, breathing. What would you do differently?: Better strategy. Need to work on speed as well as technique. Transition 1
Comments: Transition time was improved by showing up early and getting a good rack position. Bike tights got stuck on my heel - lost a little time. A better mounting process would be good, too. Comments: Bike wasn't bad, but no real improvement over last fall. Needed to drink more - a little dehydrated. Official speed was 20.0 MPH, but I think the course is actually 12.6 miles and not 13.0. What would you do differently?: Need to push harder on the bike without causing my run to suffer. Bricks??? Transition 2
Comments: Fingers are always a little slow in T2. Invest in yanks. Run
Comments: I faded in the middle and was able to pick it up near the end. Ended strong. A little dehydrated. Official pace was 7:20, but I think the actual distance was 3.0 miles, not 3.1. What would you do differently?: Push harder toward Z4 especially that last mile. Post race
Event comments: Well organized and good pancake breakfast at the end. I'd do this one again. Hopefully, the roads will be repaired next time around. A comparison to last fall:
