Swim
Comments: Time includes getting out of the pool and running to the pad. Still slow for me, though. Don't know what the deal was. The swimming-slower-to-swim-faster thing didn't work as well today. On the flip side, though, I wasn't worn out when I got out. Still had breath and energy to run to T1. What would you do differently?: I don't know. When I swim faster I'm worn out. When I swim slower I have more energy for the next event. Still, I have to learn to swim faster. Transition 1
Comments: I don't know about that running and jumping on the bike thing. Bike
Comments: The wind was killer ... S at 20 with gusts to 30. Kept a pretty good pace. My fastest so far. What would you do differently?: Attack the north-bound stretch a little more aggressively. Transition 2
Comments: Again, I'm not jumping off of anything that's moving. What would you do differently?: I'm good with it. Run
Comments: Wow! With the wind and a swim/ride before I wasn't expecting to run that pace. Once again, I'm amazed at what training can actually do. What would you do differently?: Nothing. I'm making good progress. Post race
Warm down: Water, water, and a banana. Event comments: My best race so far. I'm pleased Last updated: 2010-05-17 12:00 AM
