Comments: Not good sighting. Not good rounding bouys. Started way to fast. What would you do differently?: Need to race my own race and slow a bit. Transition 1
Comments: HR was sky high due to to hard of swim. Helmet went on faster than anticipated/practiced. Shoes on quickly. Did not get feet clicked in for quite some time....no worries, maybe lost 5 seconds because of it. Sunglasses need to go by watch, not on helmet. Slowest T1 out of the TOP 10 finishers. What would you do differently?: SLOWER SWIM WOULD HAVE HELPED....by not being out of breath Bike
Comments: Went to hard. Stomache was cramping during some/most of bike due to hard swim. Just about wrecked at "S" curve due to speed. Went to hard up the hill after becoming leader. 10th overall (396) 2:22 behind best bike time (2:08 behind Aleks) 1:16 behind 6th place What would you do differently?: Ease yourself into the run. I was already blown up!!!! Transition 2
Comments: Everything was good except the bike that fell over as I was putting mine in the rack...took the time to set his up since I felt it was my fault. What would you do differently?: This transition would be considered good. It won't look fast due to setting up the other guys bike.... One of slowest in top 10 overall.... 4th slowest of top 15 finishers Run
Comments: Coudn't breath very well. Stomache continued to feel tight/cramped. Never did feel comfortable running today... What would you do differently?: Need to run more / go easier on the swim and bike if I want to run sub 7:00 !!!! Post race
Warm down: Walked a bit and drank some water/ gatorade What limited your ability to perform faster: Not enough training at that speed....went way to fast and had to high of expectations (even though I hit my time goal)....wierd I know... Event comments: KLM still doesn't do a post race ceremony. Probably never will. We actually started 5 minutes ahead of time which was nice. Last updated: 2010-05-21 12:00 AM

First week of school and soccer tryouts interupted taper a bit. Taper the week before after two hards weeks in a row.
Arrived early (NEVER SEEMS EARLY ENOUGH) Quick swim. Easy 10 min bike. Easy jog with race pace pickups.
Eggs toast juice banana and a water bottle on the way to race.
