Pre-race routine:

Took 5 minutes to pack my tri gear into car. Took 55 minutes to pack kids toys, clothes, snacks, etc.
Drove for 75 minutes answering "Not much farther now" every 2km.

Event warmup:

Chased after kids behind the church.
Very worried about my plantar faciatis. Sprayed on some cooling salicilate to numb it.
