Comments: The swim was really crowded. Took a very long time to get clear from the pack. I was happy that I was able to keep up with the others. What would you do differently?: Try some defogger on my goggles. Transition 1
Comments: It was really hot so I took the extra time to put on a bandanna. Bike
Comments: I should not have bike the day before as my legs left REALLY heavy today during this segment. I didn't think I need to take the day off as this was such a small race for me and that I was just counting it as a training day. But trying to go all out was really hard. What would you do differently?: Take the day before off from training. Transition 2
Comments: I forgot to put my music out so I had to spend some extra time digging into my back pack. Thank god I had that bandanna on - my face stayed nice and dry and the sweat out of my eyes! What would you do differently?: Put socks on faster. Not bother taking a gel with me as I had one diluted with water anyway. Run
Comments: I wish I could run faster.....but I did do pretty good overall. What would you do differently?: RUN FASTER!!! Post race
Warm down: I was greeted by with TEAM TRACEY which was a very nice surprise. What limited your ability to perform faster: I forgot to carb up the nights before, kept dieting and training. Event comments: I love the colour of my new bike as it was SOOO easy to find on the rack. A big thanks goes out to A-bikes for doing some repairs to by bike making it a very confident ride.
