Comments: Pedaled "in circles" what I thought would conserve energy. Haven't done it much in the past and focused hard on it during the race. Transition 2

Comments: Started cramping 1/2 mile into the run. Fought the cramps all run long with walking/running/walking/running.... What would you do differently?: Won't ever pedal in circles again! Not at least with out training for it. Post race
Warm down: Tried not to puke. Successful. What limited your ability to perform faster: Leg cramps in run. Event comments: Somehow I still pulled 7th out of 30 in my AG. I was looking at last year's results and if I had matched last years time, I'd have pulled 3rd! I was almost 5 minutes slower than last year, due to the leg cramps. My bike was 2 minutes slower too.
