  • 1500 meters
  • 02m 19s / 100 meters
Comments:

They sent all of us at the same time. It was way too many people. Took me 15 min to finally find a spot to swin. BUT, I kept cool and just hung with the group.
What would you do differently?:

Maybe try to find a spot on the outside edge instead.
Transition 1
  • 02m 11s
Comments:

Transition went well overall. A little dizzy puttin on my shoes.
What would you do differently?:

Think about is putting the shoes on the peddle first woudl be any easier.
Bike
  • 1h 34m 31s
  • 42 kms
  • 26.66 km/hr
Comments:

Windy going northbound but I was able to keep a steady pace. Two bottles of HEED was just enough for the bike. My bike seat and chain needed reparing during the ride, I feel back to about 25 people.
What would you do differently?:

Get more hill training.
Transition 2
  • 01m 43s
Comments:

I actually stopped for a pee before heading out on the run. Whomever planned to put those 2 potta-johns out at the end of the run fence needs to be thanked. I felt way more relaxed not having to feel the bladder pressure.
Run
  • 1h 08m 19s
  • 10 kms
  • 06m 50s  min/km
Comments:

I am glad that I decided not to use a fuel belt. The aid stations were perfect. I am pretty happy with my overall run pace and kepted up with all the runners.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster!
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around and strecthed. Tood some pictures with WTC.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Experience.

Event comments:

There were ALOT of people. I wish that they would have done age waves for the swim start.
