Comments:

problem with how shallow it was after the big storm was that people stood up a lot. one lady stood up and then dove back in and caught me under the chin as I swam. I blacked out for a few seconds and that really rattled me and affected my swim performance.

not get kicked! get into my practiced set rhythm.

Um, I don't have bike shoes that clip in or anything, so I already had my running shoes on. quick transition. DID NOT FALL at the dismount and I am very proud of that.
What would you do differently?:

Spiilled/squirted my Hammer gel everywhere- sticky icky mess! So, I would like to avoid doing that ever again.

Tornadoes passed t hrough the night before and totallly wrecked all the stuff 3-D set up the night before. They did a great job basically tossing a race together that morning. The run course had to be altered due to trees that fell in the storm.

Course: This is a super best guess. COURSE got changed that morning due to storm damage. We were told originally it would be 3.6; then right before the swim they said 4.2; then they told us it was still 3.6 but based on THEIR TIMES and them saying my avg per mile was 10:31 I am guessing their course was closer to 3.3
