Swim
Comments: Swim time was greater than expected - not sure why - swim felt average What would you do differently?: I need lessons probably to improve. Transition 1
Comments: bad as usual What would you do differently?: work on transitions next year Bike
Comments: my best bike time so far - some headwind on 1st half - I actually think the wind picked up on the 2nd half where it was a tailwind because I had great speed on the 2nd half What would you do differently?: Need to work on corners/mount/dismount/drinking on bike Transition 2
Comments: what can I say? Run
Comments: my best tri run so far - felt easy and comfortable - trail was flat and shaded and I took a full GU and 8 oz water in T2 Post race
Warm down: When I crossed the finish line, I discovered I didn't have a chip on my leg. Wonderful PickleEvents was able to get my manual backup times. Narrowed chip loss to T1 so must have come off with wetsuit but was never found. Had a donut and iced coffee and stayed for awards. What limited your ability to perform faster: 14 minutes faster than last year so just keep trying to improve Event comments: I love PickleEvents for getting my backup times. My heart dropped when I realized I'd lost my chip, especially since I had a run and bike PR, but everything worked out ok. Last updated: 2010-06-08 12:00 AM

Went up early - shortly after transition opened - met several tri acquaintances - I looked for and found the unicyclist from last year - his sons were here last year too but couldn't make it this year.
Weather was cool - a little wind
