Run
Comments: It wouldn't have been so hot if we were swimming!! Not a bad run though... What would you do differently?: Gone out just a touch faster - wasn't sure how to pace a duathlon Transition 1
Comments: Good transition - made sure to get a good drink here before getting on the bike What would you do differently?: Not sure I could've been much faster - easy transition with since it was a small race Bike
Comments: Thought I was going faster than 16mph average (bike computer has died so I was flying blind). Must have been more uphill than I thought. Did slow down quite a bit for the RR tracks. Ate a gel just after the turn-around. What would you do differently?: Go faster! Oh - maybe train more... Transition 2
Comments: Good transition - easy to find my spot; didn't have far to go What would you do differently?: Not sure.. Run
Comments: It was getting pretty hot by this point, but I actually didn't feel too bad. Didn't slow down too much from the R1. Took gatorade the first time I went through the water stop and water the second. What would you do differently?: Try to push a little harder sooner Post race
Warm down: Drank water - walked to car and back What limited your ability to perform faster: Bike tour (114 miles) last weekend; general lack of bike training! Was pretty happy with the run Event comments: This was a nice event - can't beating signing up the week of the event!! Food was good - breakfast spread (eggs, ham, sausage, toast, fruit, assorted juices). Was pleased overall with my performance considering Last updated: 2010-06-10 12:00 AM

Got up ~5:30 with dogs; Had a granola bar and banana for breakfast; left just after 6am to drive to WB; No problem getting to the site, but could not figure out how to get to the parking lot that was right across from transition. Too many one way streets in downtown WB! Got transition set up.
Ran a lap around Public Square for warm-up
