Pre-race routine:

Got up at 5:45 and did some light stretching. Toted the family down to the Splash Park. Got registered and ran over to set up transition. I then realized that I had forgotten my sunglasses which my husband graciously retrieved from the hotel. Walked around a bit and used the restroom.

Comments:

I was passed in the 250m lane and was able to re-pass in the 350m lane and keep ahead. But, she beat me to the transition area so no net gain :) Felt really good coming out of the pool.
What would you do differently?:

Push a little harder in the swim. I can swim faster than that.

I LOVED THIS RACE!!! It was only my 3rd Tri and I plan on doing it again next year. I will hopefully get faster by then :) but it's fun to finish!
