Comments: Long transition area. Still having problem with getting socks on. Shoes on faster now that I have lace locks. What would you do differently?: Need to get some clip shoes. Bike
Comments: Bike felt good. Pushed hard and was fairly happy with my bike time. What would you do differently?: Not push as hard. Need to remember it's not a sprint tri and I have to run 6.2 instead of 3.1. HYDRATE MORE!!! Transition 2
Comments: Good smooth transition. Had to turn back for my hat. What would you do differently?: Remember my hat and hydrate while working the legs it. Run
Comments: Run was horrible. I had absolutely nothing left. What would you do differently?: Hydrate more on the bike and take in more fluid at the start of the run. Was probably already dehydrated when I started the run and could not get caught up. Had some cramps in my quads that slowed me down also. Post race
Warm down: Lots of cold water. What limited your ability to perform faster: Did not prepare for the heat. Did not do enough brick workouts. Was not as prepared as I thought I was. Stretch. Ate a powerbar and drank some gatorade. Took a 5 hr energy about 1 hr b4 race. GU at 45 before and 15 before.
