  • 457 meters
  • 01m 52s / 100 meters
Comments:

Great swim. did really well and my plan to be in the 2nd wave started just right. Did navagate well and felt natural in the water today.
What would you do differently?:

nothing, maybe worked on more speed work.
Transition 1
  • 00m 49s
Comments:

despite a messsy beach to get out of my transtion was very well done. I was really surprised with my t1 time. Just goes to show when your in the zone time stands still. My only real hang up was the time it took to get on my bike. I missed the step up I do to mount and had to stop.
What would you do differently?:

work on my step up onto the bike.
Bike
  • 31m 58s
  • 12 miles
  • 22.52 mile/hr
Comments:

Great ride for me the best time/speed on the bike all year. Great Course and with starting 2nd wave it gave me the mental advantage I needed to stay pumped. passing so many people made my bike feel like a rocket. My Cadence was a little high but I did feel alot better, and ready for the run. My goal for the bike was 32:00 looks like I beat it!!!!
What would you do differently?:

work on my bike mouting. using my step up method.
Transition 2
  • 00m 48s
Comments:

good t2 again surprised at my time felt like slow motion.
What would you do differently?:

nothing
Run
  • 21m 6s
  • 3 miles
  • 07m 02s  min/mile
Comments:

The run was really hard for me. I just had to hang on and gut it out. my thigh was slightly tight just enough to know it was there. I did well fighting the mental battle to slow down and I just kept fighting to stay strong. my goal for the run was 21:00 and I did it!!!
What would you do differently?:

work on my running. Really need to focus on running and staying healthy. I tink my speed will come down when I figure this out.
Post race
Warm down:

WEnt to find Parish as he was having stomach problems and run in with him. then streched out a little and checked my times and left for my Stl. weekend Vac.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

I went into this race with the plan of finishing in 1:03. I had a swim plan of starting in the 2nd wave for the mental advantage. I had a bike plan of 32 min and achieved it and went into the run looking for the 21min. This was also achieved. A new Sprint PR my 2nd Age Group win my 3rd top 10. Limited? Nope not 1!!!

Event comments:

I love this race and will absolutely do it again. This was a nice friendly race.
