I sure wasn't ready for the fast start. It takes me a few minutes to get going but I ended up doing ok.

The ride went good. My years of road biking got me over the "6th line hill" with no problems. On the down side I thought for sure my time would have been better.

My lack of running is what got me. Getting off the bike and running was something I didn't train for (bad idea when you're doing a duathlon). It wasn't until the last 2km's when I "got my legs". To little to late.
What would you do differently?:

Train more. including brick workouts

it was my first time. What can I say?
