Swim
Comments: Start of swim was great. Drafted well of a larger, faster guy. Lost him around the turn and went too wide. Lost sighting and started pushing too hard to breath every other stroke. Calmed down and got back into it. What would you do differently?: Stay in line with that first person and sight better on the return. Transition 1
Comments: T1 was a nightmare. I already new my swim didn't go as well as planned and when I got to T1 there were people in my area. Had to sit down to put socks on. That cost me about 15 seconds. What would you do differently?: Maybe go without the socks. Put body glide on heels. Bike
Comments: Bike was all right. Still need to work on those hills. Legs felt pretty good throughout. My stomach was acting up a lot and felt sour through most of the bike. What would you do differently?: Work on the hills...hills...hills. Transition 2
Comments: Went into T2 like an idiot. Couldn't find my rack. Lost easily 10 seconds there. What would you do differently?: Not be a dang idiot and look for the row number! Run
Comments: Just need to work on the running. That pretty much sums it up. What would you do differently?: Remember to take my little bottle of infinit with me. Post race
Warm down: Jumped in the lake to cool off. Hung out and waited for friends to finish. What limited your ability to perform faster: My crappy running background. Event comments: This race is always very well done. The organizers are very friendly and the volunteers are the best. I swear that every leg is actually longer than they say it is. My garmin clocked 12.3 for the bike and 3.21 for the run. And I know the swim is longer than 1/3 of a mile. Last updated: 2010-06-20 12:00 AM

Had toast with peanut butter about 3 hours before start, drove to event, got set up in transition and went for a quick swim to make sure wetsuit was fitting well.
Just a quick swim to make sure that my wetsuit was fitting perfectly.
