Swim
Comments: The swim was uneventful for me. The first 200 meters or so I felt really good and had a good pace, however at about 250 I just seemed to lose my rythme. I still felt OK, however I seemed to be working harder than usual to keep up the pace. I was about 25 seconds over my goal time, so I guess I will just have to push it a little harder next time. What would you do differently?: Push harder Transition 1
Comments: My wetsuit zipper got stuck around my neck which took about 15 seconds to fix. Bike
Comments: I have been really focusing on the bike over the past couple of months so I was really looking forward to seeing where I was at during this race. I felt good the entire bike and felt I could have pushed it even a little harder. I showed the bike course at about 10.25 miles. My goal going into the tri was to average 19.5 to 20 MPH on the bike. My overall average was 20.03 so I am happy with the outcome. I knocked nearly 6 minutes off of my bike time from last year. What a difference a year makes. Transition 2
Run
Comments: I felt really good coming off of the bike and set a pretty good pace (For me at least) right off of the bat. I felt strong throughout the run and was happy with my time. Post race
Warm down: Stretched a little and took advantage of the food that was provided at the race. Event comments: This race was once again top notch and a wonderful experience. Everybody is very helpful and encouraging and I look forward to doing this race for many years to come. Last updated: 2010-06-21 12:00 AM

Woke up around 5 AM ate a bagel and a banana. My wife and daughter dropped me off at transition area around 5:45. Set up transition and relaxed until about 6:20 when I began to stretch/warm up.
Stretched for about 10 minutes and did some light jogging for another 10 minutes for so before heading over to the swim start.
