Pre-race routine:

Got there early and found my team. It was a team triathlon, I did the swim, my brother in law did the bike, and my husband did the run.
Event warmup:

When I got to the pool 40 min before my start to warm up, it was too late... the races had started and I couldn't go in the pool...

I was 7th out of the pool and there was 9 swimmers in my wave! They were pretty fast!
What would you do differently?:

I will train more.. and take a few swimming classes this winter. I'm sure I can improve my technique a lot!

Ran as fast as I could to the transition and passed on the time chip to my brother in law. That's it for me! I was done!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Not enough swim training... I've been focusing a lot on the bike and run and didn't swim enough to improve..

Event comments:

It was a great family race, very well organized. Lots of volunteers that were very helpfull and were cheering us on! Had a blast! We got a podium: Gold medal! Good job team!
