Comments: I went out at an 8:30 pace since I had passed someone in transition. It felt pretty good & I held it for the first 3 miles. The second half of the course has some a longer up hill & more trail portions, so I dropped the pace. The last mile was tough & I could only manage 9:15 to 9:30 pace. But I felt pretty strong. It was a fun run, maybe my first in a race! Post race
Warm down: Walked around, jumped in the lake! Foam rolling in the evening. What limited your ability to perform faster: General fitness. I need more speed work on the bike especially, & keep working on the run. Event comments: The swim is fantastic, the bike is okay & the run is tough.
