Comments: I set out to run this at a 9:00 pace and that's what I did. It was absolutely freaking hot by the time I hit the road. I had my strategy, I executed it, and I finished strong. However, I ended up being somewhat dehydrated at the end (I started getting chills after the run). What would you do differently?: More hydration leading up to my relay leg. Post race
Event comments: I'm not a fan of the disposable chips they introduced at this race. While I agree with them in concept, there seemed to be several errors. In our group, the chip didn't register the end of the bike leg, so I officially have a 10K split of 2:51:35. NOT. Otherwise, another typically entertaining and well run race by Dallas Athletes.
