Comments:

I swam harder then ever before. The safe layout of the course made me confident enough to go at a faster pace.
I was doing great until the return leg when I started drifting off to the left. I added 50m to the swim by poor navigation.

I took no cycling water bottles on my frame, just two little bottles in the back pockets of my tri shirt. I almost fell off the bike trying to put the bottle back in after taking a sip.

Good race - I beat my target time by 4min.
The strong swim and bike really made me happy. The run was so-so for me.

Course: Rectengular in the Welland Canal - very nice course. No chop or current, easy to navigate as you are swimming right along the shore most of the time. I felt very safe.
