Run
Comments: Didn't drink as much because I didn't want to have to stop to pee much (turns out I didn't stop at all). Started out a bit slow because I didn't want to run out at the end, then had a side stitch that slowed me a bit around mile 4. Worked that out, picked up the pace, and never looked back. It was a great run and I felt the best around mile 10. What would you do differently?: Hydrate more early and just a little more during the race. Post race
Warm down: Walked around (slowly), stretched, had some yummy food. Although the combo of beer, chili, and ice cream didn't please my stomach. Went back to the hotel for a little swim and a soak in the hot tub. What limited your ability to perform faster: Side stitch, lack of hydration. Event comments: This was the best first half I could have asked for. I loved the course, volunteers, spectators, aid, and food. Could have used some more potties on the course. And the weather was beautiful, it warmed up to 55. Last updated: 2010-07-01 12:00 AM

Woke up at 6 got ready and had breakfast at the hotel: oatmeal with brown sugar and raisin, 1/4 quarter waffle w/ syrup, small yogurt, half a banana and some OJ. Headed out for the race at 7:10
There was traffic backed up at the exit so it took us a while to get off the highway, find parking, and we still had to get our packets. Hustled into the Y to get our packets and hustled back to the car to drop them off and get our Infinit. Had to pee in a bush because the lines were crazy. Jogged to the start with only about 5 min to spare.
