Pre-race routine:

Up @ 5:45, PB & Banana sandwich and tea. Packed up and road my bike to transition and set it up.

Poor start, could not find a lane, kept running into people. I followed a girl for the last half which helped sighting as it was into the sun.

Maybe start up front.

I took it easy in the beginning to see how my leg would be and it was fine.

Nothing because I was smart coming off an injury not to push it early.

Warm down:

Short walk with some water and went and stood in the lake for a couple of minutes.

Event comments:

Poorly organized with start times changing, no lunch after-wards (only rejuvenation) and the medal presentation all screwed up with some people getting medals and some not.
