Not much. Realized how much simpler it is to setup for a half marathon compared to any triathlon.

Comments:

Slow pacing at the beginning in the crowd. Was not sure if I would race hard or not. In retrospect, I should have been at the front of this pack to start. I realized that I started too slow again and this left a good size gap between the leaders that I could see in the first mile or so.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing. I was there to enjoy the time. If racing to win, need to be prepared to positions well and go out faster.

Warm down:

Stood in the lake for 20 minutes... contemplating why I did not sign up for the Half Iron before it sold out. That was the plan. But I think I have enough tri experience to handle Canada IM in August.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

slow start, side ache at mile 10.

Event comments:

I really like the event in Chelan. Still think the triathlons are some of the best. Need to sign up earlier if I want to do it next year.
