Comments: This is a weekly race. The course is probably a bit short, more like 970m vs 1000 but whatever.... Week 1 : 1000m, 15:13, = 1.31/100m - Lap 1 : 7:31.5, Lap 2 (bit longer) : 7:42 - Nice swim, good sighting, practiced drafting - Given the 2nd lap is a bit longer, it was a pretty even split between 2 laps. Week 2 : 1000m, 15:23 = 1:32/100m - Lap 1 : 7:30.0, Lap 2 (bit longer) : 7:52 - Did not push last 1/4 of the race as hard as last week - a little wind probably made a difference - Did a good job sighting and swimming in straight line. What would you do differently?: Week 1 : Maybe try going out a bit harder Week 2 : Push harder at end. Post race

This is a weekly open water swim race they do in Montreal on Wed nights.
There is a 1,2 and 4km version of the race.
Not an exciting race report, just noting it for future reference
I will update this every week rather than create new race reports
