Pre-race routine:

got up ate a light breakfast and had a cup of coffee. Drank some water. Got to the race early enough to get my transition area set up with plenty of time to spare. Had plenty of time to do a short run and some stretching.

What would you do differently?:

I did not train for this race so I did about as expected.

I need to practice more with taking off the wetsuit. But overall a good transition.

I kept a controled pace on the way out. Felt a little tired until the turn around. Then I picked it up for a good return race.

Warm down:

Got some water and a banana. Light strteching and some walking around.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

No training. I did this race to hopefuly kick start my training for the rest of the summer.

Event comments:

This was a nice race with mostly locals. It was well run and had great volunteers. I would recomend this race to others.
