Basically was happy with swim. Got into some areas where I was totally alone and pushing my own way through the water. Got some contact with participants of both genders. LOL.

Didn't feel great coming out of the water, so I walked most of T1. Didn't use the initial downhill to resolve shoes. Had to ride on top of shoes for about one mile.

Know the course.

A) It took me a mile to get into my shoes. Rediculous!
B) It was pouring
c) Too many areas were too narrow for safe passing
D) Sucked going out there with basically no Bike training for the last two weeks. Not a horrible performance, considering.
E) Lost my glasses around mile 3. Glad that I took a cheap pair.
F) Dry with 5 miles left.
What would you do differently?:

Get into my shoes quicker.

Schwag was awesome. I was expecting better post race amenities. Run course was confusing. Bike course was too narrow.
