Comments: As usual, a slow swimmer. Much time spent on back and side. Need to work on endurance. Good pace when swimming differently. Not so bad for the number of participants. Just swim by yourself and ignore everyone else around. Pretty good crowd start What would you do differently?: Need to continue working on endurance. Transition 1
Comments: Slow, deliberate transition. Good "snack" (jeely beans and spit out) and good energy drink with water. What would you do differently?: Move faster Bike
Comments: Didn't drink on the bike (still not comfortable). Slight troubles with shifting, need to get bike checked. Able to make time on bike, especially with hills. Need to practice cornering, turns, and turn-arounds. Transition 2

Comments: Blisters on left foot (calus/ scabbed blister just came off). Good with cooling and water (though slowed down at cooling points). Walked a bit too often on second loop. Need the mental "push." Post race

Registration and bike turn-in the day before. Walked to the race site, set up Transition, turned in clothes bag, and walked 1500m to swim start point.
