Got up early and drove the bike and run course. Drank 2x750ml gatorade and a banana.

What would you do differently?:

Learn to swim. This race taught me that I do not in fact know how to swim. I need more pool time and some lessons in the off season. This was much as I expected.

Great leg for me, made up alot of ground and did not get passed by anyone.
Blew past the trun around by a bit due to poor marking, cop in the intersection was directing traffic, apparently he was also the trun around, no signage for this. 4-5 others rode the extra 10km before hitting the Oly turn around and coming back in, they were kinda pissed.

Need speed laces for shoes, had 3-4 people come in with me take me leave me behind while I was tieing shoes.

Did not drink enough on bike, and only having one aid station on the run, I was cramped up and walking much more than I should have been.

Drink more on bike leg.

I did not stay for the post race fun as my parents wanted to take me for breakfast. what there was at the finish line was good tho'
