Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 4:30. Very little nerves. Strange not being nervous before a race.
Event warmup:

Felt great for the first 8 miles. On pace for a sub 2 hr half. Then my body decided I could not keep the pace. I faded and finished outside of my goal time. Disappointing to say the least.
What would you do differently?:

Not go out so hard at the beginning. Get more liquids in.

Performance: Below average
Course: Nice Course thru the heart of Myrtle Beach. Left Medieval Times. Across the bridge and around Coastal Grand mall. A little loop off of Grissom Parkway, then down Grissom to Broadway at the Beach. Down 29th Ave to Ocean Blvd, past the finish line and back up the boardwalk to the finish. Very Nice Course!!!
