Everyone seemed to want to walk the swim since it was so shallow. I suck at swimming, but I really wanted to swim not walk.

Swim and try better to avoid walkers

I caught this guy in my age group and we ran the whole run with me and then the last 100 meters we sprinted it out and I beat him by one second. That was cool. I only wish they had a picture company at this event.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster and not save energy for the finish.
