Comments: It was a long 400 meters. I hit the middle of the short backstretch in 4:22 and hit the shore in another 4:21. After a long run up to T1, I was at 9:20 overall. Solid swim. Can't complain. What would you do differently?: Not much. Good swim. Transition 1
Bike
Comments: I had 21.6 at the turn-around and 21.2ish back to transition. That's after clearing my computer after the long run to start the bike. And then there was a long run to end the bike too. That made for slower than normal bike times. Drank a fair amount - thought I might be over-drinking, but I needed that for the hot run. (28.8 max) What would you do differently?: Be in better bike shape. I lost a lot of bike power after taking time off after Liberty. Transition 2

Comments: Got HOT!! I took some Heed out of transition because I was getting hungry, then water at the last 2 stops to sip and then pour down my back and on my head. That really helped. What would you do differently?: I could have MAYBE started harder, but I was hot and unsure of my running skill at this point. Overall, pretty happy with how I had done. Post race
Warm down: Nothing. No stretching even. Just a ham sandwich and an apple. But then a nice 10 minute ice bath 3 hours after the race once home. What limited your ability to perform faster: Easier training coming out of Liberty due to a sore foot. Event comments: Maybe could have used one more water stop on the run.
