Comments: This is a reverse tri, and I really didn't think very far ahead. I got in the pool and noticed the shirt that I should have taken off along with my race belt were still on. Threw off the race belt, but the wet shirt wasn't coming off. I felt it swooshing back and forth the whole time. What would you do differently?: I need to just buy a tri shirt. Also I could have pushed more, but this was basically a workout for my Olympic tri next week. Transition 1
Comments: So T1 is run to bike. I had problems with my helmet fastening. I didn't run into T1. What would you do differently?: Figure out what is wrong with helmet. Suck it up and run through T1. Bike
Comments: This is the shortest bike ride I've done in a while. I think it went well enough. What would you do differently?: I could practice sprints on the bike more. Transition 2
Comments: This is where I neglected to take off my shirt and race belt. Aside from that it went well enough. Run
Comments: I'm used to pacing with a watch, so trying to sprint for 3 miles was a bit difficult. I walked up the hill trying to get my heart rate lower, but I'm not sure if it was worth it. Next time just run it. What would you do differently?: I'm training for a Olympic distance tri next weekend, so if I want to do better at this race I need to work on shorter runs. Post race
Warm down: Wander around and talked to a few friends. Ate a bagel and had some powerade. Event comments: This is a really good race for beginners. It's rather small and organized well. Last updated: 2010-07-24 12:00 AM

Honey nut cheerios and coffee. My usual breakfast minus the turkey sausage.
Ran around for about 10 minutes to get the heart rate up.
