Comments: decent swim...took almost 6 minutes off last year. It was mildly choppy on the way out, then it got nice. Never pushed it, never felt out of control. What would you do differently?: other than actually train in swimming, nothing. Transition 1
Comments: took my time to get HR down, put on some extra clothes and drink a little....lots of sand made me take my time...sand out of swim was 4-5 inched deep, so I had a lot of cleaning to do. What would you do differently?: get in shape and sprint Bike
Comments: kept in comfortable but pushed it too...best bike I have done in a while as far as intelligence. Could I have pushed it harder? Sure, but at what price? What would you do differently?: nothing Transition 2

Warm down: got water and headed home; race did not have a big post-race presence, but since I travel and race alone, this does not affect me much. What limited your ability to perform faster: need to run a lot faster Event comments: Race started just a little over a half hour late, so that threw off my pre-race swim acclimation a bit. Overall I was very happy though. Took 20 minutes off my race time from last year and got below 1:20 in a sprint for the first time ever. :) Last updated: 2010-07-26 12:00 AM
