Swim
Comments: Swim felt real smooth. I didn't think I pushed myself that hard and maybe I should have pushed it harder? I really just took it smooth and tried to keep a good pace. What would you do differently?: Better job of siting. I found myself a couple of times WAY out of the way. I probably actually swam about 1750 with how far I went out of my way. My citing has to improve. Transition 1
Comments: My transition was terrible. I came out of the water and was walking, and then I couldn't get my wetsuit off, took a few minutes to get the shoes on, it was just bad. What would you do differently?: Do more times where I practice this. I just don't practice this and coming out of the water I am just too "tired." Bike
Comments: My first lap of biking was flat out terrible. I was just too slow. There is no way I should be averaging 18.5. I needed to put more miles on my legs before this race, and I didn't. As a result I struggled. I should be averaging 20.5 without having adverse affect to my run. Towards the end I think I started to feel better and get some more speed going, but it was a rough start. What would you do differently?: Get more mileage in prior to the race. Transition 2
Comments: Had to tie shoes and put on socks. Not terrible. What would you do differently?: Not much. I think I could have done this a bit faster, but overall, it wasn't too bad. Run
Comments: My first 4 miles were really good. Averaged probably 8:30, but the next 2.2 miles were no good. Again this just goes to training. If I had more mileage I would have been able to push that a little farther. However, kept comfortable pace and ran the whole way, which is good. What would you do differently?: Do more training prior to the race. Post race
Event comments: This was an excellent race and I had a great time. Last updated: 2010-07-27 12:00 AM

It has been a long time, so I didn't really have one. Got to the race late (not really, but it felt late because the place was packed). Got transition setup pretty easily.
Biked a couple of miles just to get the legs moving and then went and swam approximately 200 yards or so.
